Dani was awarded her High School letter for her jacket at the tennis banquet.

Joe cashed in on a final birthday gift. It was a trip to a Rockford Ice Hogs hockey game. The Comptons joined us at Red Robin and off to the game we went. Dani wanted her picture taken with the Texas Roadhouse Armadillo but the only way was to enter a mashed potato eating contest! She did, and she won! Food and photos, does it get any better?

Dani performed in her first Kishwaukee Sinfonia concert. The music was excellent. Look HERE for the Youtube videos.

Off to Wisconsin we go for our annual Thanksgiving holiday tradition with the Pawlaks. Brittany contributed with the mac-n-cheese and it was food and fun for all. Of course, there were the ads to check out as well, preparing for the Black Friday shopping binge.

Too busy shopping for pictures, but here we are at Fuddruckers for our after shopping meal.

Then it was off to Minnesota to meet the Comptons for a full day at the Mall of America. The Vikings played the Bears the next day (see the next pictures!), so there were many Viking related things going on. Some cheerleaders were in the mall and some of the Viking's Ring of Honor players were signing autographs.

Sunday and off to the game! We parked at the mall and took the train to the Metrodome, aka, Mall of America Field. We sat in the last row, above the goalposts, but we could see everything. It turned out to be a great game for Joe and Favre, but not so much for the Bears fans!
