August 2009

We continued our trip in Wisconsin by staying a couple of nights in downtown Lake Geneva. Our room overlooked the lake with a beautiful view. We had some great meals, fun shopping and the girls played some great music.

Dani and Joe also made a side trip to Walworth to check out a car show and swap meet. Dani is a little partial to the El Camino.

After returning from Wisconsin, Joe and Cathy took a trip to South Haven, Michigan. We found a nice Bed & Breakfast called the
Sunset Inn with an excellent view of the harbor. It was within walking distance of town and the beach. The South Haven Lighthouse made an excellent subject for a beautiful sunset.

Our girls with Ashley and Lizzie planned a dinner party for their guys. It was a fun night.

The mission trip that Dani was on did the church service one weekend. Dani played in a strimg group and the bongos as well as children's time.

Joe took
Cathy's Corvair our to Rochelle for the Petro cruise in.

Then the Culver's show in Sycamore

Joe and his friend Glenn took a trip with the Waverunner out to the Mississippi River in Savanna, IL. Based on an island, they rode the waverunner hard, having a blast. There was also a rope swing for additional fun.

Dani started her first day of High School and had lunch with friends afterwards.

The first full day of school, Dani and her doubles partner Lauren, had their first tennis match. They won the match and played very well.
