We start out July with a visit from Brittany and her friends, Molly and Alison.

Mark Tribby and Shaun Lowry hosted the "Shut Up and Eat" gathering. Dani and Brooke had fun playing with Bama, a three month old chocolate lab.

The next day, Joe, Cathy, Dani and Brooke took a trip to Geneva Lake for a little fun in the sun and Waverunner action.

July 4th saw a little gathering at our house.....

Dani and Paige had fun playing in the water at the Genoa Pool.

They also performed in a music camp at NIU with many other Sycamore students.

Cathy and Joe went to Sue's(friend from Joe's work) lake house on the Chain-o-lakes in Antioch and had fun with the boat, tube, kneeboard and Waverunner.

Friends Jessica and Jarod were married this month, giving us a chance to get dressed up and celebrate in their joy.

Dani and the DAPLE Quintet performed at the Pay it Forward House Garden walk. The live music was a great addition.

The Pay it Forward House held their annual fund raiser as well this month. Cathy is a big behind the scenes part of the days festivities

Dani went on the church mission trip to Montana She had a great time.

Cathy and Joe took the Waverunner on a new adventure..the Mississippi river. The water was smooth and the islands were sandy. We also saw the riverboat "Twilight" and a few barges.

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra performed at Hopkins Park in DeKalb

Then it was time for the Sycamore Cruise night Saturday night of car show weekend. Lots of cars turned out for the smaller show and we cruised as a group to numerous locations around DeKalb and Sycamore. What a blast.

While we made the cruise night, we didn't enter the show on Sunday. Work just gets in the way. There were around 1000 cars that did register though.

We ended up the month with a fun trip back to Geneva Lake with Brit, Dani, Liz and Ashley.
